Federal
As the largest facility owner in the world, the federal government faces unique challenges: modernizing outdated facilities, incorporating cutting edge technology, protecting employees and secure facilities, and setting a standard for design excellence and environmental responsibility in the design and construction of new facilities.
DMJM has built one of the nation's largest A/E practices focused on federal projects. We are the architect of record for the new 1.6 million-square foot U.S. Department of Transportation headquarters, the first cabinet level headquarters built in Washington, DC in over three decades. We are also providing construction management and commissioning services for the new 1 million-square foot U.S. Census Bureau headquarters and program and construction management support for the 6.5 million square-foot Pentagon renovation. In almost sixty years of federal contracts, we have served every cabinet-level department and numerous federal agencies.
Our regional and nationwide contracts include the GSA nationwide Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract, the US Postal Service Construction Management Support Services Contract (17 consecutive years), and the renewal of our five-year contract with the Federal Emergency Management Agency to provide infrastructure support services throughout the United States.
DMJM leverages its design, management and technology talent to deliver customized solutions for national and international building projects, including embassies, customer service centers, border control stations and border crossings, (more building types). Whatever the requirement, DMJM responds with well conceived and carefully executed solutions delivered in a timely and cost effective manner, revealing our commitment to maximizing federal tax dollars.
